There are a ton of videos on YouTube of 1/2 pickups pulling stuck semi's. It happens quite often. I actually pulled a stuck semi out of a snow burm with my 2001 Silverado. I didn't think there was a chance when I first stopped to help the guy but it actually pulled it out quite easily. As long as you have a good set of tires, these vehicles are very capable in the snow.

I've pulled Dad's tractor trailer out of the mud a few times. Takes a while, but it eventually gets the job done. Did it with his 99, and my 09.
