2008 Silverado 1500 LTZ. Dead cluster (4 gauges and DIC)

Hey guys,

 

My truck for about 2 years now has had a dead cluster. After about 15-30minutes of driving, the DIC will come to life and 10% of the time the gas gauge will come to life.

 

Today, I have had about enough of it. The only gauges I have are RPM and Speed (km/h) - the other 4 are done (as seen in the photo).

 

I want to know what input you guys have on this as I would like to get it fixed.

 

Photo attached (DIC was working here, but its on and off).

 

I am located in Ontario, Canada if anyone has something for me.

You can replace it for cheap from ebay. You can have it rebuild for cheap too.

Also you can check with the dealer and see if it's still covered under warranty. They had issues with the gages on certain years and extended the warranty on them.

there is a guy in Ontario on kijiji for $80 to repair it. Same day
