Diesel Truck Milage

I made a 220 mile trip today with half with the wind at my back and the other half into the wind. I got 19.8 mpg and I think this is pretty good considering the T444E is considered an old out of date engine. What are you others getting?

98 3/4 ton 6.5td extended cab is getting 17.8 mpg which is half city and half highway driving.

99 Quad Cab Cummins 4X4 with 3.54 gears

city/hwy 19.5 average

hwy 22.3 is the best for me.

99 SRW F350, 4wd, ZF6, 3.73 gears. Gets around 15-17mpg in mixed driving (farming) or out on the freeway. But it also has a flatbed and fuel tank on it, and weights around 7800lbs with just 2-3 gallons of fuel in the trucks tanks, the other tank empty and no tools in the tool boxes. I'm sure it weights up over 8500lbs most of the time, so that has to knock 1-2mpg off.
