Android Auto MyLink Update

Hi, i'm new to the forum and just bought a new 2016 Silverado LT last week, i'm excited about the new truck , however it didn't have android auto working at the time.

 

The good news is there's a new update (posted 2 days ago by Chevy) link

 

Has anyone updated their system or have had a chance to call their local dealership to perform this upgrade? I've called two dealerships around my area and non seems to have any idea.

There was another thread around here somewhere where someone posted the GM service bulletin... Seems like they need to load the update files to a USB stick and then install them on the vehicle. I'm hoping to pick my 2016 up this weekend, hopefully they have loaded the update already before I take delivery.

It may be a programming update, but Android Auto was not released til the first of March.
