Running Boards for 2015 2500HD

Hello All,

 

I just hopped out of a 2014 GMC 1500 SLT Z71 and into a 2015 Chevy 2500HD gasser. My question is, will the stock running boards off of the 14 GMC 1500 fit the 15 Chevy 2500HD?

If same cab they should fit.

 

GM accessories shows same description and kit number for DC 1500 and DC 2500 gas.

2500 has a deeper frame so possibly different brackets....

Except that the steps mount to the cab, not the frame.

IIRC, they just use different brackets for the diesel, because the brackets have to miss the DEF tank.

Yes they will fit. Swapped mine out from my traded in 14 1500 to my late build 15 HD, they fit with no issues! same hole pattern etc. I have the Factory GM 4'' round tubes, hope this helps you out.

Yes factory/accessory GM boards will work unless its a diesel then you will need to order the diesel bracket kit to mount the passenger board.
