Tint Balancing question on LTZ

In Texas I'm limited to 25% for both driver and passenger. Not sure what came from the factory on the back driver and passenger windows on my double cab.

New York is not a tint friendly state! Driver & passenger windows are suppose to be 70% or higher light penetration.

 

I will do 20% on my driver & passenger windows. I'll try the 35% or maybe 50% (if they have it) for the rear doors & glass over the factory tint. If I don't like it, I will try something else.

I am not sure the specs on it. I have a part time employee that works full time at a tint shop here in Phoenix. I was asking him about what I should do when my '16 gets delivered. I explained to him that it came with factory "Deep Tint" (on the crew windows. He said yes they are tinted, it is IN THE GLASS and not a film, but there is no UV protection.

Ok gotcha....I did not know there is no UV protection
