Tint Balancing question on LTZ

I scheduled my truck for tint and just need to figure out what % for back windows and back side windows. I don't believe there is any tint on my front side windows?

My toddler screams when the sun is in her eyes on trips. I am thinking 35% for the rear over the existing tint and 20% for the front side windows?

Sound about right? Or what do you recommend?

Thanks

5% over the factory tint? It must be blacked out. I need to still see a little. I haul trailers. the tint installer recommended 35% tint over factory. Stated that would equal 5% or so. Ideally, 15-20% for the back glass and rear doors is what I am looking for.

Back window is left alone and the sides are nicely blacked out. Stays nice and cool in the truck also. I tow also and have no issues.

I just had them do 20% in the top of the line 3M product and now all my windows match perfect.

I had my tint specialist remove the factory tint since it was basically non-existent and I didn't want to worry about bubbling...

He put on ceramic 5% on back and rear windows and 20% on the fronts - hard to see out the back but the rear-sliding option is wonderful at night.

Night & day difference with heat in the cab though.

I went with ceramic 35% in rear windows over factory tint and 25% on fronts. Also got 50% on my windshield and love the look!

Isn't the factory tint in the glass itself, not applied to it? [emoji848]

I left the back windows the factory percentage of 20 percent which is in the glass itself. I did 35 percent on the front two windows. It isn't black out but dark enough to keep the glare and inside cooler. I also don't have to worry about getting a ticket. Not sure what state you are in so I would recommend to check out your tint laws before you decide on a percentage.

Removal was free & came with lifetime warranty.

Executive MotorSports out of Houston did mine.

What did he remove?!

He actually removed the door panel, not the factory window shading...

Getting old, my memory fades :driving:
