PO740, PO753, PO785 codes

Truck has no power in first gear. Cranks up and drives but has no nuts to it. These are the codes that came back. Ive done some searching and reading on the codes and what they mean when they all three pop up. I just wanted some custom advice. What should i do to try and fix this?

 

 

Truck has a remote start thats been on it for ages, hardly ever used any because i accidentally smashed the remote.

 

And it has a hyper tech programmer which has been on it for almost a year with no trouble.

What makes you think that?

 

 

Drove it around today, battery light pops up on message center thing as well as abs for a split second then the problem persists. This happened after 4-5 miles of driving.

 

I don't have the P1860 and P0758 code like most other people i see?

Based on your first post and 33 years of dealership experience, that would my first thought. But it is a first thought only. What it takes is diagnosis and I can't do that for you.

10-4, whats the best way to diagnose it?

 

This is what you mean when you say ignition switch right? Not the actual key cylinder ?

Anyone got any tips or anything?

 

I got the 7mm socket on the bolt holding the harness in, but it just keeps turning and not coming loose !i tried pulling at the harness itself but its not budging !!! The switch and everything is out ! The harness being held in by the 7mm bolt is the only thing holding me back !
