no a/c

My 2014 with 44k miles just stopped blowing cool air, got a fried to fill up with dye and nothing but it worked great for 5 days.. how can i get gmc to cover part of the repair once i take it to dealer?

Same problem here. AC started blowing hot air on Friday. Dropped it off at the dealer today. Condenser was leaking. Luckily they had one in stock and were able to complete the repair the same day. But at 40,822 miles I was out of warranty and the repair cost $755.53.

Not a happy GM truck owner

 

Started having AC issues at 38k miles on my 2014 Sierra. After multiple recharges and hunting for the leak I found it on the condenser. Looks like a brazed or welded connection. Pretty pissed since it is going to cost quite a bit to repair. Contacted gm to ask for assistance since I feel this is not something that should occur on a vehicle with such few miles.

 

P.S.- I scraped the paint off since it was flaking big time.

My 2014 at 45,000 miles stopped working yesterday when its 90 outside and a 4 hours away from home. Dropped it off at the dealership to see what they say. It is CPO so still have 3k miles left.

 

With all the other issues I've had and in the dealership every 3 weeks, looking to see what GM will do.

 

UPDATE: Dealer just called and my condenser was cracked

I am in the same boat, Sierra 2014 with 45k miles, AC went out in 100 degree weather.

Dealership said leaking condenser and quoted me $1000 for parts and labor .

They claim the labor (700) is due to having to remove a bunch of stuff to get to the condenser, but I've heard it should NOT take that long.

Extremely dissaponted having to deal with this only 2 years owning the truck!
