Just got a warning on the DIC and a text right after when I was pulling out of the office this afternoon. Called my dealer, they said it's not showing up in GM's list but it is showing as a recall on the onstar side. It's a new campaign is what he told me and I'm bringing it in tomorrow morning for them to check it out. Anyone else get this today? It's a separate thing from the transfer case update. Here's the text:

Didn't get it today but a few days after I bought my truck the message was up for just about a minute. Haven't see it since.

How did you sign up for the text updates? I get a monthly diagnostic email from Onstar, but that's it.

 

And what issue with the transfer case? I wasn't aware of any recalls

It was sent from onstar, I think it must be part of the remote link app setup or maybe setting up your onstar account initially for texts.

 

Transfer case was getting stuck in 4wd on some trucks if you didn't disengage it before turning off the truck if I remember right. I never had any problems with it, the dealer just called and said they had to update the truck for the transfer case issue, I don't know if it was a recall or a bulletin. Didn't find any problems with stabilitrack yesterday, the error message quit popping up in the DIC and the light went off on the dash. Going in for oil change next Monday and they said they would do any update to it then and that they pulled the error code the truck threw for stabilitrack.
