New here, need a little crash course

Hello, I'm new to forum and recently acquired a 2008 GMC Sierra that has a lift on it. I'm loving the truck so far, but I am an admitted newbie when it comes to lifts and suspension. I can build motors, I know nothing about suspension. First question, I do not know what kind of lift I have (suspension or body) although I think it is a 6" suspension lift. Second, how can I tell the brand of the lift I have? I have attached some pictures, if I need to post more I can, any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Looks like a BDS suspension based on the small skid plate. Look to see if the skid plate has the letters BDS cut out of it. The skimped on the rear shocks though.

Just checked it and yes, it does BDS on the skid plate. I noticed the shocks had no name on them so I was curious about that. Any suggestions for replacement or anything I should know? Is this a full suspension lift as I suspected?

Looks like the standard 6.5" BDS lift. Nothing wrong on the front at all, but the rear shocks look like they threw on some cheap ones. Fox shocks for the rear won't set you back much.
