My lopsided truck

Hi All,

So my trucks seems to lean to the drivers side, I think I read somewhere else that this is an issue with the Sierra/Silverado since the fuel tank and the driver is on the right side of the vehicle.

I am curious about a couple of things though.

1. Does this happen gradually or suddenly? Seems mine went this way pretty suddenly, so I am wondering if something is actually broken, the rear drivers side is currently sitting about 1.5" lower than the passenger side when not loaded but full of fuel.

2. Is there anything that might break suddenly on in the rear suspension that would cause this?

BTW I have a 2013 GMC Sierra SLE 4x4 Z60 with 35,000miles.

thanks for you time and I apologize if this has been covered in the past - I did search but couldn't find anything.

Both my 2009 and 2010 Silverado's do this. Dealership told me multiple times that it's normal. I swear I'm not that heavy.

might be normal doesn't mean you have to like it

i have about given up with dealers around here - if they can't plug it into a computer and get answer they give up.......

Leaf springs on 2007-2013 are quite common. Usually the front half of the second spring in the pack breaks in half.

On my 2008 I recently noticed that same lean. Was really noticeable. Popped the wheel off and noticed that a leaf spring was busted in half. Replaced it and no more lean.
