So is this as efficient as the RX can? I only have 1000 miles and am thinking that I want to do this. Problem is, I don't want to spend $379 if I can get one for $110 that does the same thing.

It absoluety is as good, the baffle system i think is great and it has a large capacity. you cant get a real RX anymore anyway and the elite is just a steel mesh with a screen really.

thats horrible to see, i keep my original hose in the truck just in case god forbid this happens and i have to get it towed to the dealer u will see me putting it back to stock on the side of the road before it gets seen by the dealer.

Well crap. Now I DON'T want to put one on. I still have the two year maintenance and would have to take it off every time I go in for an oil change. And if the wife is driving it and has a breakdown, it's not like she is going to swap it out before the tow. Dammit! Now what do I do.

I'd love to see the intake valves of an engine with 50K + miles that doesn't have a CC. I really only drive maybe 10K a year so I will hit the 5 year mark well before the 100K mark for the warranty. Maybe at 5 years I'll do an intake clean and then add a CC... With my luck, I'll have carbon issues at 5 years and 1 day! I guess for now, the warranty is more important. Rats! I wanted this truck to last 100K +.
