3.73 to 3.42 Swap

I've got a 2001 1500 with 3.73s. The rear end recently grenaded. I've got access to a parts 1998 Tahoe with 3.42 gears. 4x4 doesn't work in the 1500 so I'm not concerned about the gear ratio being different. Would it be a direct swap with everything bolting right up if I took the 3.42s out of the Tahoe and put them in the 1500?

Both rear ends appear to be 8.6" 10 bolts. The shock mounts and leaf spring mounts seem the same. The only difference is the tahoe has drum brakes and the 1500 has disk. If the rear ends interchange can i unbolt the backing plate and brake assembly and put them on the tahoe rear end?

Unless your Silverado is a old body style I don't think the Tahoe has same spring perch widths

I just searched the spring perch widths obs is 47 inches nbs is 49 inches
