Removing Grill from 2016 Silverado

Hi Folks,

Just wondering if anyone has taken the task of removing grill from their 2016 Silverado......I have one coming in in June and was thinking of installing a 36" light bar inside grill. I had one on my 14' Sierra and it was great.....

It is much easier to do on the 16. Remove the clips holding the upper sight shield. Move the sight shield out of the way. Remove the 4 bolts holding the top of the grill. The only thing holding it in place now is clips. Grab the center and bottom cross piece of the grill and pull straight out. It is that simple.

Can anybody confirm if this is the same for the 16 Sierra? Or do you have to remove the whole bumper piece like 14-15
