I am having trouble finding much in the aftermarket for my truck. Anyone with same year truck do any mods? I would like to see whats available. Every time I order something that says will work with my truck i find out it does not....intake, tuner..ect.

What exactly are you looking for as far as mods? Exterior stuff 2015 and 2016 HD is the same (splash guards, steps, vent visors, etc.), No changes there.

Yeah I got steps and getting rain guards put on a stubby antenna, tinted windows but really the truck looks great straight from the factory. I just wanted to see what other people have done.

I know this thread is about a year old, but it seems to address my question.

Tooch, what stubby antenna did you get? And did it affect reception at all? I'm considering a stubby antenna for my 2016 GMC Denali 2500HD so I'm interested to find out what you, or others, installed and how it is working out.

Thanks.

Mine would hit the garage door, even though I knew it would happen it still startled me a few times....so I drove up to the door, marked the antenna and cut it off. Then I popped the ball end off, filed down the new tip and pounded the ball back on. A shot of black paint ti hide the nicks and you would never know. No problem with reception but I live and work in the city so that's no surprise. As I keep lifting my truck I will keep loping the top off. It's free too.

I dont think thats a good idea...those are made to spec for the material it is. You may not notice it but im sure the reception has degraded. these stubby antenna are'nt very expensive and look a lot better. Well worth the investment.
