what will you put in for more light?

Right now I'm trying to figure out that same thing to be honest I've been reading so many threads and there's so many different options that it gets overwhelming.

OK, I got them installed and they look great! I will post a picture this evening, if I remember. But, I am having one issue or I must be doing something incorrectly. For some reason I seem to be having an issue with the DRLs not coming on all of the time. Sometimes it seems as though they come on and others they don't. I am not sure what I am doing. I called the tech support last night for the headlights and they worked through it and it seemed to be working, but again this morning. When I park the truck and got out (with the truck still on) no lights were on. I made sure that the "Automatic Light Control" was set to ON. Any ideas or something I might be doing incorrect? I am at lose, and don't want to see my OEM headlights until I get this resolved or figure out what I am doing wrong. Thanks again.

...and again. I might be thinking too much into this issue as I have never really paid attention to the DRLs on the OEM headlights. I just found out that if the truck is in Park the DRLs will not come on. But, if anyone has any additional information or thoughts to ease my mind, that would be cool. I did find this in the manual.

The DRL system comes on when

the following conditions are met:

. The ignition is on.

. The exterior lamp control is

in AUTO.

. The transmission is not in

P (Park).

. The light sensor determines it is

daytime.

Mine are on when in park.......

OK, I guess I am just screwing something up on this issue. Is there an icon that appears in the instrument cluster when the DRLs are on? Again, I am just running through these things as I have never noticed this before. Also, with the DRLs on these Spyder headlights, it is just the main projector bulb that is running, correct?

Here is a quick shot of Chewie after I finished the install, yesterday.

was your a sle or slt ? Did you have drl's before the switch to the spyder lights?

It is an SLE. I had DRLs before, but they were not the LED DRLs, it just used the projector bulb as the DRL.

The SLEs DRLs are the projector lights, themselves.

The SLTs DRLs is the LED strip.

Hmmmmm someone smarter than me might be able to help. Mine is an slt with led drl's. I'd imagine you can get a harness to convert the new ones to led drl's. I think there is a thread on it.

I got the headlights squared away, thanks for everyone's help. Now I am just trying to get them adjusted correctly which is just going to take some time.

On another note, has anyone purchased and/or installed the Spyder Tail Lights for the Sierra? I am thinking about purchasing a set to replace the stock ones. The Spyder ones look pretty sweet, just like the headlights. Thanks again everyone!

I have both headlights and taillights by Spyder the taillights are amazing looking of course you can always change the bulbs if you like them to be brighter but overall they are easy to install and look amazing.

Any way to get a pic of the tail lights in action when you are able? Thanks! Probably going to order a set today. Think I am going to get the Chrome with Red lenses so they look close to stock and will go along with the color of my truck (Bronze Alloy).

The 2015 SLT Spyder headlights are very tricky to retrofit just an FYI to anyone thinking of doing so
