Got my K&N

Well I went ahead and got the K&N FIPK. I just got it on ebay the other day so hopefully it will be here by the end of the week. Can't wait to put it on. Next step will be to get some sort of exhaust system to open it up a little. What is everyone running for a setup? I don't want to by something that I will want to upgrade later. I definately don't think I'll be going with a supercharger. I do want to buy a performance programmer. Not sure on headers.

What next?

H*lls yeah u want a supercharger. Trust me, when you buy a 4K wipple, you'll think nothing of selling your $250 K&N FIPK! That's what I plan on doing one of these days.

I got a Superchip programmer. You should look into one of these. I would recommend it only if you are using it for more than the performance tuning though. I've used mine for different tire size and plan on regearing to 4.56s pretty soon.

Are you currently running and exhaust system? What have you been looking at? I've been thinking about Flowmaster 40's, catback with the dual exhaust. May change my mind if I think about going the header route.

I would love a supercharge but I think the price is a little out there, although you do get another 100+ horses out of it.

How does your superchips work? I would like to get something to adjust for wheel size. I've been looking at HPP II and the Diablo.

No exhaust yet. I'm going w/ Flow 40s soon. The Superchip is nice. From what I hear it goes, computer chip, HPP3, Superchip, Diablo, LS1edit, Websters upgraded PCM. These are listed in terms of gains, w/ the most gains at the end of the list (but also higher prices). I got the Superchip b/c it does what i wanted: adjust according to different tire/gear sizes and adds a little Hp. For $300 it was worth it, but if you're only getting it for the power tuning, forget it, it's not worth it.
