2016 Silverado LS - Adding Steering Wheel Radio Controls

First off, I am new to the full sized/ Chevrolet game.. I came from owning Toyota trucks and I have to say, I don't miss them, just their re-sale, but maybe I will keep this sweet ride long enough that re-sale will not matter..

 

I have owned this 2016 Silverado LS for a little over two weeks and I have put 1600 miles on it.. I have added a 2" RC leveling kit, bed mat, and 5.3l EcoTec3 stickers to the hood.. I have ordered chrome door handle and mirror covers and tint is this week.. My next step is to add the radio controls to the steering wheel.. I see an accident happening if I don't address this issue soon..

 

My question is,, is it possible to add the radio controls as a plug and play or is this possible at all? I have researched where people have asked about the WT packages but not the 2016 LS packages..
