2003 sierra Keyless entry dosent work unless drivers door is slammed

Vehicle is a 2003 GM sierra. Started happened a few weeks ago didn't think much of it and thought it was just a flook. But it is occurring more often. Every morning I have to unlock my vehicle manually or sometimes I can just knock on the outside of the driver side door under the mirror and wallah it works. However once inside the vehicle I attempt to start the vehicle but it shuts off immediately after ignition. But after I slam the door once or twice it starts right up and the keyless entry works fine. Sometimes the theft light comes on when this happens so I have assumed that the vehicle thinks it is being stolen therefore shuts itself off. I have to start the process overreacting after letting the truck sit for a few hours. Any ideas and help would be great, I've already taken the door apart to see if the controls were in working order and everything seemed fine.

Sorry to sound like a db, but it's "fluke," like the fish, and voilà (pronounced walla).

 

Sticking the key in the ignition and turning it to "start" will disable the antitheft system. And the normal behavior of the PassLock system is that is would just prevent the engine from cranking if it does not sense the correct ignition key.

 

My guess is a loose ground somewhere, or a loose connection. Check your wiring harnesses, plugs, battery cables, and ground attachments.

That's what I thought too but I looked and couldn't find a culprit

Attached a video of what the vehicle does. Assuming it's a bcm or pcm issue but I don't know to much about that stuff so all help is knowledge is welcome
