8" Intellilink question...

Recently received the software flash to make my Intellilink (8") compatible/functional with Android Auto. That was successful, as my system now works with my phone and ANdroid auto is functional.

 

I have music stored on my (android) phone. Prior to the update, it seemed that the Intellilink via bluetooth immediately recognized, and parsed, the music on my phone--- the ability to browse that music from the steering wheel audio controls was almost instantaneous.

 

AFTER the aforementioned software flash for Android Auto, it still works--- only, it seems to take almost 5min of driving (or system On-time) for the music to be browsable via the system over bluetooth. It acts as though it takes much more time for the system to recognize music on my phone via bluetooth,

 

I do not BELIEVE I have changed anything on my phone to cause this. Still checking that....

 

Anyone else with a similar experience/observation? OR, anyone have any wisdom?
