Either I don't know how to properly use the search function or there really isn't any topics on this yet

Has anyone installed these yet? I like my HIDs but have DRL kills the bulbs in about 10-12 months

I would like to know about performance and figment with the provided dust caps

There is a video on YouTube about them. Also join headlight junkies on facebook, and there is a post on them there as well. Other than that there isn't much.

Also you have to cut a hole in the back of your stock dust cap, and mount the rubber dust cap from TRS in the hole. It's a 60mm diameter.

So the dust caps shown in this picture are not included?

Yes they are included. They are 60mm caps. You have to cut a 60mm hole in your caps then stick the ones in the picture in the holes you cut in your stock ones. They designed them this way so they would fit in the majority of stock dust caps on the market.

I'm going to give them a shot. I've got a complete Morimoto HID kit ready to install, but this seems more up my alley as far as install goes.

I couldn't find it will you post the link to it and post pics in your thread of the install?

What worries me is that they will have a very intense hotspot that will shine way too much foreground light which week make them no more effective than halogen.

So these are in but BIG problem

They look great and seems good enough

But

As soon as I turn the truck on and into drive

They immediately go off

As soon as the truck is off and then locked again, they come back on.

Wtf is going on here

Don't think so. They do come on fine-again when the truck is completely turned on. I may be mistaken but a polarity issue wouldn't come on intermittently no? It would be either all on or all off?

When they were in and on they looked great for sure

Now the issue is to keep them on

Going to be calling TRS on Monday. I want to make these work

I just purchased a set of led's for my headlights that are 4000 lumens per bulb and they look really good and are super easy to install but going out on the highway they really don't produce as much light as i would've expected, they cover a good distance but its not a really visable light.
