Ignition Wire Set $$ for a 5.7L Vortec?

I've just swapped out the plugs, PCV valve and fuel filter on my recently purchased '96 Yukon and intend to replace the ignition wire set next.

 

I hit a couple of retailers here in Toronto over the weekend and no one had a set in stock, but did tell me how much they are: CDN$165 (That works out to about US$120, BTW). For 9 short little wires?! Come on!

 

What are you paying for a set of wires for this engine?

Yeah, stock Delco wires were about $100 for my '97 Yukon. You can get MSD wires like mine for about $80 and they are a better, more efficient wire. The MSD part # for your truck is 32169. They are an 8.5mm wire, so they are a little hard to fit in the factory wire holders, but they fit with some persuasion.

I would get the MSD wires also. Good product, not overly expensive.
