New to this forum and couldn't find a post on this. Have a 2016 2500HD where the driver's side front fender is back, closer to the door edge than the passenger side fender. Every place you look, (hood edge to fender trim, fender to front bumper, is off by the same amount but it's fine on the passenger side. Is it possible to loosen the fender and move it forward (about 1/16 inch)? Are shims available to do that? Couldn't find any parts on GMPartsDirect.com.

There is a lot of work needed to re align the front fender. If you have a 2016 though, that would be covered under warranty.

Thanks for the response. Is there a page from a body manual that would show me how to do this? Not sure I trust the dealer's body shop.

sorry but the fender is spot welded in hundreds of spots, its going to be a major project just for a few mm
