You ever have one of those days at the boat ramp?

Hopefully we'll see something put up on facebook that captures the truck going down the boatramp and sinking. I've seen videos of regular trucks and SUVs sliding down the ramp and into the water but not one like this one. Freightliner FL60 or FL70 chassis.

I bought a new boat (new to me), a 24' center console. The BP oil rig explosion had occurred and the first time I hooked her up and headed to the Gulf Coast boat launch (Courthouse Rd pier, Guldport, MS) a TV crew was on site taking video. I got out and told the reporter this was my first launch of this rig and asked him to skip this shot. He declined but said if it was awful, he wouldn't use it. I was interviewed, got in my truck and backed that tandem axle into the water just as perfect as I've ever done.

 

No, not a story like these but I promise you the booty was tight.
