Android auto on 2016 2500HD

I am getting a truck soon that does not have this option. Can the HMI be sent off to get it upgraded?

  I got my information from Torque News 2026 Silverado VIN Hack: Look for 8th Digit ‘E’ to Confirm the DFM-Free 5.3L V8 That Ends Lifter Failure Can you tell me if a new gasser GMC 6.2L Denali or a 2026 5.3L Denali is safe to purchase? I have read a lot about engine failures and just want to be safe. What would you recommend? Plan on purchasing a new truck in the near future. Thanks for your assistance, John
