Costco curiosity

Problem is, by December 31st, most of the good vehicles are gone and all that are left are the blah models with no goodies or extras.

I had been watching prices for a few months this spring and had came to the conclusion that 20% off the manufacture's MSRP was a good deal, 25% off was a home run. When GMC had the 20% off promotion over the 4th of July two dealers in Portland were offering trucks for $15,000 and $16,000 off MSRP. I picked up a 2016 GMC 1500 SLT that stickered at $53,700 for the sale price of $37,700. That's roughly 30% off ........ I was happy, happy, happy!

In 2015, Costco was the number two company in car sales, second only to AutoNation. All that without the traditional sales stores or showrooms. They sold over 400,000 units.

Damn. I didn't know they sold cars. Next time I guess.

They also sell travel trailers and other toys. We got our TT through Costco.
