HID's and LED fogs.....2 part question

How is the light output at night with just the LED headlights? Better and brighter than stock?? Or just different colour? Looking to do the same. I dont like HID> Thanks for the help! And Does it work with the Day time running lights?

The LED Headlights are Amazing. I did it shortly after I got the truck. It was the first mod I made even before the lift kit. I ran HID on my old truck for years and always loved them but this time of course I wanted to try the newest style and of course longevity played into my decision. I can't speak to how much brighter they are cuz I honestly don't remember the factory lights lol. But I can tell you their EXTREMELY bright and when I drive I can see everything! They work with the daytime running lights and there's no difference with functionality as far as I can tell. That may be the type of led lights I got though. All my lights are from OPT7. I just got in yesterday the LED reverse lights as well. I noticed with my lift the stock reverse lights were not bright enough to illuminate the pavement behind my truck so there for was pretty much pointless. These new LED reverse lights are WAY better they light of the whole drive way ?. I do recommend the fog lights, reverse lights and the headlights. But i did remove my light bar and the wireless remote kit I installed shortly after my post. The wireless remote system failed twice. The first time I think it over heated and ran power to the lights all night without me knowing and when I woke up the next day my battery was dead. The second time was partially my fault for not wanting to drill into my roof but I left the wiring exposed running down the side of my windshield to my engine bay and I think water got to it and shorted it out. The third time I got everything hooked back up and made sure everything was water tight on the wiring but after 3 days the light bar had diods that wouldn't shut off when the light was switched off. Could have been more water damage but its supposed to be waterproof and I already did extra waterproofing on the wiring, so this combined with the notorious wind noise made me remove it and send it back. Good thing is I got full refunds everytime with no issue thanks to amazon prime. I'm thinking of doing another light bar on the front end but can t decide plus I kind of want a new heavy duty bumper and that would change the layout of the front end and where I might mount it.

Any suggestions out there?

Great. Thanks for the help!! Hard to find good reviews on the Led stuff as well as for our newer trucks etc. Appreciate it!
