Scratches on Rancho Quick Lift

Ive had the Quick Lifts on my truck for about 3 weeks. I just noticed that there are big scratches on the shock body behind the coil. Is this normal? Ive also had a weird popping noise when going over bumps.

It is a shock. No need to wax them and show them off. They will get abused, scratched, hot and the paint is going to fall off.

Who did the install? If you had a shop do it, I would bring it in and have them take a look at it. Make sure fasteners are tight, etc.

I had a shop do the install. I will have them take a look at it. Im not worried about the cosmetics, just the fact that there are big gauges taken out of the shock body and I haven't even hit the dirt yet. They have only been on for 3 weeks.

Yeah, I would ask the shop that put them on. I'm thinking of doing the Quicklifts with a .5"-1" strut spacer and then an add-a-leaf in the back.
