Headwaters Seat Cover Review

Ok guys. As the title states I will be doing a full in depth review of these seat covers. I haven't seen a post like this yet.

This will be for a 2015 GMC 1500 Crew Cab 4x4 SLE with 40/20/40 (both consoles open)

 

9-13-16 placed my order and Paul, owner, called to discuss my options and confirm. Great guy good to talk with. Down to earth and very knowledgable. Also loves hunting, as do I. And has no problem story swapping!

He also gives a 10% Military discount, which is a very nice gesture that not many people offer or advertise.

So I ordered front seats only because I rarely use my back seats and the wife was happier with the cost of fronts-then backs at a later date(offset spending a bit).

 

Options I chose: Shadowgrass Blades Camo, driver side leg pocket(in front of seatbelt buckle toward front of seat bottom), billowed map pockets driver and passenger.

 

I asked him, knowing my answer I wanted to hear, about how "water repellent" these covers are. Nothing is waterproof. Period. He gave a straight and true answer. For everyday use and spills etc. it will repel the water or liquid. If however it is completely saturated, expect failure. But and I quote " this is the most durable, water resistant fabric you will find".

All USA materials and licensed patterns for Camo.

 

So far I'm very happy with dealing with his company. Will continue to update and will do before and after pictures or anything specific anyone wants. Stay tuned.
