2013 Silverado 1500 HU, amp and front/rear component set.

I finally got around to sinking the flush mount tweets from the mostly installed component set in my rear doors yesterday. I also found out that the 3M double sided tape I used was insufficient to hold the crossovers to the door skins. Nice to figure out where the high volume rattling was coming from. I tried some epoxy this time, hopefully they stay put.

 

Front 'ponents are in the factory locations, door and a base of the a pillar.

 

Pioneer HU and Clarion EQ notsoflushmount in the dash. I hastily dremeled the pocket on the dash kit to accept the EQ as I couldn't find a half din under din mount. It sits above the surface but looks good enough for me. Nice that you can get pretty much all your illumination one color (HU, brake controller, scangauge) or a nice balance with your factory instruments.

 

Amp fit behind the rear passenger seat mounted on the cab wall (might get warm but JL = thermal protected). I could trim these cables up to really look pro, but I'll probably just tuck the slack.

 

Sounds pretty nice with the time alignment all set but now I need a sub. And maybe a Bluetooth CB radio?
