Largest tires with stock suspension

Sorry to start yet another one of these threads, but I cannot for the life of me find previous ones with the information I was looking for.

I have a 2016 Crew Cab 2500 Duramax. It is raised 5/8" in the front, and lowered 2" in the rear with drop shackles.

I'm looking for the largest tire size that I can fit on an after market 18" and aftermarket 20" wheel.

I don't want my wheels sticking to far out, so I know offset matters in regard to that.

I am looking to fit the meatiest tire possible. Just looking for my best options. If I need to crank the front to a full 1" and raise the rear 1", in order to fit a larger size tire I'm not opposed to that.

As long as you're conservative with your wheel offset, you should be able to fit 295/55/20, 275/65/20 or 285/60/20 without any trouble. 295/60/20, 285/65/20, or 305/55/20 should also fit, but will be closer to rubbing. The last 3 may require a few extra torsion bar cranks, depending on your wheel offset. For 18's, you can run 295/65/18 or 285/70/18 easily. 295/70/18 or 285/75/18 should also fit, but might be close. Some guys are even running 35x12.50's with a level, but rubbing depends on the particular brand/tread of tire. If you're wanting the biggest possible, then go with a 35x12.50 and do what it takes (cranking or trimming) to make them fit. Otherwise, I really like the look & proportions of 295/70/18 and 295/60/20. To me, they look like 35's at a glance, when mounted on an aftermarket wheel.
