Auto-dimming Mirror

How effective is the auto-dimming feature? This truck is the 1st vehicle that I've driven that has had it & I really don't notice the reflected headlights being any dimmer than a "normal" mirror.

I find mine quite effective. You should notice the driver side mirror and rear view mirror kind of tint when headlights hit it. If you have tow mirrors I'm not sure if they have the auto dim feature on the driver side mirror

The tow mirrors don't have the auto-dim feature, and I miss it.

Dang that sucks. It's a $1000 upgrade if you don't get them from the factory and they can't even put it on there, that blows

I have noticed that the headlights have a slight greenish tinge when looking @ them w/ the rear view mirror. No tint when you look @ the outside mirrors.

OK, everything looks good now. Last night I passed a K2XX GMC & compared the brightness of the headlights thru the mirrors. Looking @ the pass; side mirror, all I could see was 2 bright headlights. Looking @ the rear view mirror I could pick out the individual "segments" of each headlamp.

Does anyone have a plug diagram for the 2019 auto dimming review mirror for a 2019 2500HD LT? I'm needing to know which pin is the ground, and which is the switched power. TIA
