I'm gone to,   I have to move back home since I graduated and can't find a job,  and theres only 56K back home and I can't tolerate that much  so you probably won't see me online much anytime soon.

I have another week before spring break starts.  Lucky me, I get to enjoy spring break in beautiful and exotic eastern CT.  I also get to drive up to school a couple times to work on my senior design project. :but:

I have senior design starting in the fall (mech. engineering).  I have no idea what i want to do yet.

 

A friend of mine is building a mini baja car

My senior design project (also mech eng.) is basically to put a hydrogen fuel cell onto an electric go kart.  Sounds like a cool project, but it kind of sucks.  Won't bother you with the details, but it's a lot of work to put a 500 Watt piece of lab equipment to power a 1.5 hp go kart.

 

Me and a friend of mine tried to do the mini baja project, but we couldn't get any funding for it, so we had to take what was offered.  It could have been worse for me--he got stuck designing a plastic hub for a tape measure.

My friend did get some funding.  Also he is building it at a shop where he works.  They are supposed to race it this june in michigan i might take a ride up there to see it.

 

So far i think they have the frame and some of the suspension done.  

 

Hopefully they get it done.  if not maybe some people will take it over? I know id like to

Break is still a week off for me.  I'll be heading to the fine place known as Lynn Center.  Once again, my time will be spent working on our equipment for spring planting, dad has turned that into my job as he just doesn't want to mess with it.  Oh well, I don't mind, anything is better than school.

My break doesn't start until the 25th.  And I will be stuck here most likely the whole time.  Oh well.

I'm doing nothing this week.  I've slept in, played guitar, and watched TV.  I did help the contractor that's doing some work on our house a little bit one day.  And now he's offered me a summer job, so if my job with the state road fall through I can work with him.  

 

I may not be on again until next week, I'm not sure.  This ancient computer of Becky's mom's is too dang slow.  I'm used to my fast PC and a T3 connection, this thing is slow and has 56K, so I'm getting tired of waiting.  Might be back on before next week, but I might not.  See ya.
