2016 6.2l engine mods

[2016 chevy 6.2]

I was wondering if anyone has changed there throttle body and was wondering if you had problems after. Also I was wondering if anyone has took out the 3 cat before the muffler and was there any codes reading on any of 2 two I am asking about I'm new to this new stuff so any help would be nice

I changed to a ported TB on my Camaro. No issues whatsoever

Unless you are going with an OEM ported TB there is no real gains on messing with the TB. The 6.2 trucks use the same size TB as the Corvette and Camaro with the same engine. The 3rd cat is not monitored, it is only there because California requires them as part of their C.A.R.B. act. GM only makes 1 vehicle that is 50 state compliant now so all of the trucks all have the 3rd cat now. It is fine to cut the 3rd cat out provided you fully weld back in a piece of straight pipe.

Would this mean that the 3rd cat on the 5.3 is ok to remove too?

yes 3rd cat does nothing and the 87mm TB is good with a really good tune.
