GMT900 Cruise control issues

Hello all,

Vehicle in question is a 2010 silverado 5.3 Z71

I recently replaced my brake booster and master cylinder. All went well and brakes are functioning but now my cruise control is not working. The light on the steering wheel switch comes on but it does not set.

I did some research and it sounded like the brake pedal switch. I changed that and no luck - further more my brake lights don't stay on and they illuminate properly.

Also, double confirm brake booster part numbers with chevrolet and the replacement was ACdelco.

Any ideas?

There are codes that will set for cruise control. Gotta have a shop or dealer scan for them though. 20877277 (178-0800) for the booster and 20845345 (174-1159) for the master.

What was the reasoning for changing the master and the booster?

Thanks and those are the proper parts. Intermittent hard brake - felt like a rock. After removing the brake booster we saw the master was leaking into the booster.

Do not currently have any warning or check lights - my brother has a snap on scan tool so hopefully that will show. Thanks! Let me know if there is anything I can try in the meantime
