Guys running larger tires on 22's

Hey guys thinking of going with a leveler kit and a little larger tire, my question is how does affect performance and gas mileage? What size tire did you go to and what did it do to gas mileage and performance, thanks in advance.

Depends on the tire you go with.

 

Any M/T is going to effect gas mileage as its much heavier than stock tires.

Most A/T tires are also going to be heavier than stock, thus also effect gas mileage.

 

You can probably run up to a 33" tire, but make sure you check exact dimensions because not all 33" tires are created equal. Some are slighty smaller than 33" some are slightly larger. Also, alot has to do with width of the tire.

 

P.S.- there are several threads, Leveling Kit Thread and Wheel/Tire setup thread that have hundreds of responses with tire sizes that fit with leveling kits.
