2005 Chevy 2500HD 6.0L Need Help Quick

Hey guys had a baby and I'm having to trade the dually off I found 2005 Chevy 2500HD extended cab 4x4 that is pretty decent shape except for a few things I have questions about. The cluster has gone stupid rpm speedo and oil pressure don't work, and air bag light is on dealer said they would look into taking care of those since my dually is worth more than this truck. The CIL is on with the following codes P0300,P0053 (Bank 1, Sensor 1) and P0135 (Bank 1, Sensor 1). Otherwise I'm liking the truck it only has 112,000 miles on it and has been decently taken care of it seems. I need help and direction on if I should be scared of these codes and what it would cost to fix them. I can feel the missfire at a stop light because the truck will have a short little rumble run smooth then rumble again. Any help is appreciated.

If it had "been taken care of", it wouldn't have those codes. And the cluster would work. That stuff that has been going wrong for some time and the owner didn't do anything to fix the problems.

And unless the dealer is directly related to you or has been your best friend since you were born, is totally going to use up any difference between the value of the two trucks and then some trying to fix it.

You have to completely separate the two deals

-selling your truck to the dealer)

-buy the 2500hd with the codes fixed

or you are going to get reamed

You need to have a pre purchase inspection done at an independent repair facility.

Don't let your emotions get in the way of critical thinking. Trust me, I know and I'm having to fix things left and right because of it. I can't agree more with what davester said! Be willing to walk away from any deal at any time ( rule 1 Art of the Deal)

Think of it like this: Would you give the dealer $X for the vehicle, and then hand over an additional $Y in cash for the dealer to try to fix the problems the vehicle has, and return any leftover money back to you?
