All Terrain 2016 4x4

My truck has been in shop for the last 2 weeks because it gets stuck in 4lo and will not come out. They changed accuator and oil and still no luck. Service 4x4 is on display. Anybody else had or know anout this issue? 15k miles. Dealer is stumped and they are calling GM today.

Has the truck had the 4wd module updated? There was a TSB out recently for this issue not too long ago.

The module was updated last Monday which they thought was the fix.

I've heard of them getting stuck in 4wd, but never heard of them getting stuck in low gear

Not sure on the new vintage of trucks but we have seen our fair share (I own a repair shop) of older stuff with the encoder motor position sensors going bad causing them to ratchet into low range by themselves. I assume the actuator on the t-case has to have some sort of position sensor. The old ones would fail and the t-case control module would just keep commanding it to move looking for an input, they would bottom out in low range. Water intrusion or damaged wiring would be my other first thoughts.
