Anybody ever have a problem when you open the package and hook it up to your MAC for the first time and when you download the updates and when it says updates are done and says its going to reboot the unit and then nothing it just sits and says "please wait" for awhile like 30-40 mins with the red dot moving? How long does it take? Is there something wrong as it doesn't want to reboot?

Nobody has a apple computer or what?

My 5 year old daughter does, I'll ask her about your issue when she gets home from school. It may be a bit later than normal as she's singing in the Kindergarten Winter Bash after school.

Little late but I just got one last Friday and it took forever on my MacBook, identical situation as yours. Unboxed, Downloaded updates, did all the processing and installing on device; then device ejected and said it would restart. I waited it out for about 4 hours and then unplugged and plugged back in. It did the same thing again, waited for another hour before I unplugged it. Plugged it in again and deleted the update file off the device through my Mac, restarted the process again but tried over wifi this time....same thing. Deleted the new update file it placed on the device on the main directory with the folders for the different operating systems. Plugged in and checked for updates with the program on the Mac, said it was up to date. Searched for an update over wifi, said it was up to date.

No clue what happened lol. Wifi wouldn't work until after I originally tried to update twice through the Mac interface, after that the wifi worked as well. It showed it as connected to the network, but spit out an error message when looking for updates.
