Dead battery, Bluetooth related?

Hello, while driving home last Friday I wanted to hear some new songs that I had only on my phone so I did the blue tooth syncing while driving. After many failed attempts I finally got it to sync, but the music didn't play so I turned off Bluetooth from my phone and just used the iPhone speakers.

 

Got home, parked it, locked it. Monday morning (today) I try to start it and the battery is dead. Little hassle getting the jumper cables out and going, but after sitting on another car for a while it started up pretty strong.

 

So while at work I started thinking about doing a dual battery setup or just getting a new battery and saving the old one as I would think it should still be good when o notice this:

Do you think some weird onstar / Bluetooth thing killed my battery? Is there a fix?

depending on the age of the battery, it probably is just dead. just had to replace the battery in my wives 2016 Tahoe with a build date of 12/2015. the factory batteries maybe last 18 - 36 months max.

I left my dashboss connected via Bluetooth for 2 days without starting, and the battery was dead. These batteries are bad, I should get a new one soon.

I don't think any '14 and up c/k trucks were built with these options.

In fact I believe radio RPO UFU is an Equinox and Cruze radio. Maybe more, but not Silverado/Sierra

Went ahead and put in a new Walmart H6 Everstart Maxx (Johnson controls) battery. Quite a bit of trouble to get the battery out, take off the sway rod, the plastic box on top and plugs and such, my AC Delco oem battery had no handle on it, so to get it I had to take out the sway mid support and the plastic jug bolt sitting in there

 

My old truck had the battery mounted up by the grill which was way easier

 

If this dies on me I'll have the dealer check it out, turned out I still had GM roadside assistance, they would have towed me or jumped me for free, but I already had the battery out at that point
