2011 2500hd ex cab audio

I have a 2011 2500hd extended cab LT. The truck does not have the bose system. I currently have a kenwood double din head unit installed. As well as 2 10 inch skar audio VD10s in a Rodney's box under the rear seat. And a car audio bargain 1600.1 amp running them. The head unit, subs, amp and all wiring came out of my f150. My issue I am having is that I do not know where to mount the amp. The amp is rather large. On the f150, I had the amp mounted to the back wall of the cab behind the rear seat. Being an extended cab, I do not have room back there to mount the amp. Also no room under the front seats as they are both power. The only other thing I have seen would be under the full length center console. But I am not sure if the cubby in the front will contact the amp. As well as I noticed modules under the console. About the only other option I am seeing is to cut the center out of the sub box, and to put that amp between the 2 subs. I would rather not cut a $175 box up though. Also for new speakers, I was considering replacing the front mid bass drivers with new woofers and leaving the stock tweeters. And replacing the rear speakers with a set of coaxials. Any other advice would be great!!

Not sure on the amp situation but I would make sure it has enough cool air and doesn't get hot. I have had them cut out and fry from getting hot. As for the speakers I picked up some DD Audio component speakers and they are damn good for door speakers! My whole system is DD Audio (1 dd audio amp for the door speakers @250w rms each door, 1 dd audio amp for 10in dd audio sub @600w rms) except for the front 3-way components being CDT Audio. Great system, surprises a lot of people even me at times! Both amps are mounted under the seat and the 10in sub with the ported box is behind the seat. Hope this helps

Yeah that helps. My amp was mounted behind the seat in my f150 and never got warm. I gotta remove the rear seats and see what I can do. I am planning on not installing a 4 channel. I don't wanna go through all the wiring again to put it in. If I do add one it will be a small one that goes inline with the factory wiring. Like the jl audio one that's designed for atvs and such. I'm planning to run jbl components in front and coaxial in the rear.
