Wire hanging under driver's side.

Was curious if anyone could tell me what this plug is for. I noticed it hanging under the driver's side today and don't see what it could go to. I'm guessing it's not anything important because it runs and drives fine. post-168938-148744527003_thumb.jpgpost-168938-148744527621_thumb.jpg

I believe that is the connector for a flex fuel sensor.

I agree with Fishbait, it's for the flex fuel sensor. Another member did a pretty good write up about adding flex fuel to his truck.

Yes, looks like a dummy connector plugged in to the end of the standard harness which gets removed to plug in an additional accessory.....just like the dummy plug you have to remove on the rear harness to connect the bed lighting to the bed light circuit.

Ok that makes since. I figured it wasn't being used but thought i would ask just in case. Thanks Everyone!
