Wiper blades

Am I missing something do I have to use gm wipers?wanted to replace mine got them off but found it's not like my old truck. Hoping I don't have to buy these blades not a fan of these

I just replaced the wipers on my 2015 with Bosch Icon 22 OE wipers. Worked great. OE is important or they won't fit right.

Nope, go to any auto parts store and look at the catalog in the wiper blade section. Find your truck in it and it will give you the correct ones to use from what they have there. From cheap to big bucks. Pick what you think would work. If it shows it will work for you, they will have an adapter in the package to make sure it fits properly. I usually pick the middle of the price range ones. Living in SoCal, the sun destroys them in a year. And most auto store will put them on for free!

 

Just don't buy into the ones that have "special" abilities. Depending on where you live, the blades won't last long enough to justify the added expense.

This, The Bosch Icon's are the only ones that fit properly in the new style arms. Trico, Rain X, Piaa and the cheaper Bosch all fit loose or don't lock in to place properly.

Job security for the engineers & the always advancing work to improve things (read cost cutting).

I have tried so many wiper blades and found OEM from the dealer work and last the longest.
