What are the part compatibilities?

Hey guys so I have a 16 GMC Sierra 2500HD Diesel and I was wondering, does most of 2015 parts fit all the same? I have been looking at parts for my truck but a lot of websites still only show up to 2015 and not yet added 2016. Thanks and let me see your trucks and if you've added anything unique to them.

Ok for instance here's a grille assembly says it fits 2014-15 1500 only. Looks exactly the same. https://www.ebay.com/itm/381129883784

You can't go by what GM says. So many cross year model mods that happen here everyday GM says can't be done.

That grill is for 1500 trucks only and 2014-2015 are different than 2016+ 1500 trucks.

 

If you are looking for a grill, look at 2015+ 2500 and 3500 trucks.
