body colored door handles

Thinking about ditching the chrome handles and moldings on my 2016 custom sport 2500. Does GM make pre-painted ones? My truck is summit white.

Craigslist, this forum, or eBay are your best options. Here's a set on Craigslist if they'll take PayPal and ship. These are a bit pricey though.

Does gm make pre painted ones that I can buy through the parts department? I checked gmpartsdirect but came up empty. I'm finding every color but Summit white on eBay.

GM are paint to match. I'd find someone to trade with.

Yes GM dealers have them. I couldn't find the part numbers but the parts department can get them. They used to run around $160 for all 4 if you have a crew cab. All the ones from 2014-2017 1500 and 2015-2017 2500/3500 are the same style. They come with instructions on how to change them out. It only takes about 15 minutes and you don't have to remove any door panels.

Agreed. Pricey in general. Bought my set of white handles and mirror caps for a 1500 for $50 shipped off Craigslist.

Gmpartsdirect has the handles, ready to paint for $21.00 each, I might just go that route. I'm sure I can get them painted for less than $200.00. Thanks for you help. I was able to find the body side molding pre-painted in my color from GM. I wonder why they do the molding but not the handles.

Okay GM must have changed it. In Dec 2015 I ordered my Rainforest Green handles directly through my dealer when I bought my truck. I was there a few days later when the Parts Manager opened the packages (I made him inspect them before I would take them ) and they came pre-painted.

 

OP -- like others have said your best bet may be to buy a set from somebody on here (or ebay). There are usually people looking for chrome ones so you may be able to swap for not much money. Even though you can get the primed ones for $21 each until you pay to have them painted it will get pricey!

23444119 and 23444120 are the upper in black, 23444125 and 23444126 are the gas lowers. If for some reason you have the temp sensor in your passenger mirror, the lower is 23444124 but, if they are factory installed they most likely will not have the sensor in the mirror.

Honestly I would not be the least bit surprised that those may have came off of a truck that someone wanted chrome handles on instead of the colored ones and they sold you the takeoffs.
