head unit goes semi blank after 30 seconds

I have a 2016 Chevy 3500 and I got in my truck today and noticed that my head unit loses some of the buttons, after 30 seconds, if I touch the after they disappear they come back again after 30 seconds. Has anyone else experienced this and if so, what fixed it? It just started today?

I have a 2016 GMC 2500HD Denali and it's done that since day one. I think it's the way that display is supposed to work. I don't recall if there is a setting to enable or disable that but it's always worked that way.

I don't think so, the icons stayed on the screen since day 1 and my'14 and '16 GMC 2500 had the same head units and the icons never disappeared. I just spoke to Chevy and they even said that's not normal. I have to take it into the dealer .

Oops, my mistake. It's the Nav screen that does that. Teach me to reply before drinking enough coffee. Lol

LOL, no worries, I found the culprit though, I noticed when my Galaxy is hooked up to it, it does it. My phone just got updated last week and last night was the first time I drove my truck since the phone got an update. Not sure why my phone being connected would cause that now when it didn't in the past. odd, but o'well, found the cause
