2016 2500HD Leaf Spring Replacement

Got my truck back from Chevy today. In January when I bought it, had squeaking in the rear over small or medium bumps. As well as shaking bed up and down. I had hoped it just needed some miles to quiet down but it just got worse. Loaded the bed down with a 1000lbs of lumber on Saturday and it was still squeaking like a 89 Suburban with 300k. Yes I at one time had a 89 Suburban with 300k on her.

 

They first re-torqued and lubricated the original springs but ended up having the replace the left one. On the invoice, it mentions tech bulletin 06-03-09-004H. I'm happy they took care of the issue, I don't get upset over minor things like this easily. I've owned enough GM cars to know the drill, but this was excessive and needed to be fixed. Wanted to encourage anyone with noise issues to take it in. I noticed on the drive this morning that the rear end is much more settled on the road. I believe that the suspect spring pack was out of alignment.
