General Lee 01

Whenever I'm out on the highway I see "Older" Gentlemen driving and they have a bumper sticker on the back of their car\truck that says "Semper FI" or something like that.

I assume it has to do with Military Veterans cause they usually also have a "Retired US Marine" sticker, etc too.

So I ask, what is Semper FI?

General you will find a ton of latin motto used in the military.

The one that I always like best is "De Oppresso Liber" (To Free The Oppressed", that is the motto of US Army Special Forces.

Sine Pari (without equal), Army Special Operations Command

Sua Sponte (of their own accord), Army Rangers

Lo Que Sea, Cuando Sea, Donde Sea (anything, anytime, anywhere), Army 7th Special Forces Group

Semper Paratus (always prepared), US Coast Guard

Defensor Fortis (defender of the force), USAF Security Forces/Force Protection or whatever they now call themselves

Audentes Fortuna Juvat (Fortune Favors the Bold) USAF 366th Wing

and there are hundreds more floating around in the military...

:D
