2017 denali 1500 w/ 22" wheels all terrain tires

traded the 2015 5.3 denali 1500 with 20" wheels & all season good years for 2017 Denali w/ 22" all terrain tires. I have noticed the steering wheel moves overly easy when driving (40-70) only when driving over the painted line or the seam of asphalt pavement.... is this the 22" all terrain tires that makes this happen? Has anyone else experienced this?

Most likely due to the 22" tire being a 285/45 tire (wider and lower profile) where the 20" are a 275/55 (somewhat narrower but taller sidewall).

Try driving a Camaro or Corvette if you think that's bad LOL low and wide. Those suckers track everywhere on the roads.

To tell the truth, I have never noticed any difference between the 20's that were on my 14 compared to the 22's on my 16 as far as freeway speeds, or any speed really.

Good point you should make 100% sure that the lane keep assist is turned off.

NO noticeable driving difference between my 16's 20" wheels/tire combo and the 22" wheel/tire combo on this 17 Unless the lane keep assist is on and then it wants to drive itself LOL Surprised me how strongly it nudges and how persistent it is. If you use your blinker to change lanes it temporarily cancels the lane assist it is a weird little feature it surprises me that they would do this and not have the blind spot alert on these trucks. To me that would have been a more useful feature than this quirky little thing LOL
